The Chairman of the National Council of the Slovak Republic by his decree No. 225/2010 (Digest) of 19 May 2010 announced the elections to the municipal self-government bodies. He stipulated the day of elections for Saturday, 27 November 2010. The elections shall be held in line with the Act No. 346/1990 (Coll.) on local elections with subsequent amendments.
