The chairman of National Council of SR, by his decree No. 320/2001 from 17^th August 2001, announced the election to local authorities of self-governing regions and the election of chairman of self-governing regions. The day of election was set on 1^st December 2001. The elections will be held in line with the Law No.303/2001 on election to bodies of self-governing regions and on amendment of Civil rules of the court.
