The Chairman of the National Council of the SR, by his decree No. 191/2013 of 3 July 2013, announced the elections to local authorities of self-governing regions and the elections of presidents of self-governing regions. The day of elections was set for 9th November 2013.

The Chairman of the National Council of the SR, by his decree No. 359/2013 of 11 November 2013, announced second round of the elections of presidents of self-governing regions. The day of second round of the elections was set for 23th November 2013.

The elections will be held in line with the Law No. 303/2001 on Elections to bodies of self-governing regions and on supplements to the Civil Procedure Order as amended.
